Aqua 103 is located on the first floor of a 2-story office building. This provided a substantial construction challenge especially when it came to the heating, cooling and ventilation of the kitchen area. Special consideration was utilized when designing the routing of the ductwork for the kitchen exhaust hood. This ductwork uniquely tied into to one of the main building duct chases that ran up to the roof. The exhaust ductwork had to be welded together and lowered into the duct shaft from the top down. All ductwork within the dinning and bar areas were installed as tight to the existing structure as possible in order to maximize the ceiling height.
Scheduling was imperative and detailed coordination was required for the installation of the kitchen equipment in order to maximize the use and functionality of the 600SF kitchen. Minimal space exists between each piece of kitchen equipment utilizing every available square inch of room to create compact, efficient food preparation area.
Lastly, the light fixtures, bar, and bar display wall were custom made specifically for this restaurant. The bar and water fall display wall were constructed on site to meet the specific requirements of the restaurant owners. |
