Ron Main
Ron has more than 20 years of professional experience in the construction industry. As President of Warner Construction, Ron’s responsibilities include ensuring that the company has organized growth and that the work performed meets and exceeds the client’s expectations. He is also in charge of coordinating sales, marketing, pre-construction services and the overall profitability of the company.  Ron has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Maryland and has personally completed projects that range from $100,000 to more than $30 million. His previous experience before Warner Construction comes from some of the top ENR firms located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. 

Mark Buchholz
Mark is accountable for all facets of construction management including the oversight of projects, safety, quality control and continuing the development of relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers. He is responsible for maintaining project personnel, schedule and material demands. Mark graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Building Construction. With more than 20 years in the construction industry, he has successfully completed buildings in education, mixed-use, office, retail and hospitality that range from 5,000 square feet to over 500,000 square feet. 

Chris Knotttext
Chris has over 24 years of professional experience. He has managed new construction, renovation and tenant fit-out projects as well as maintenance and repair of on-site mechanical, communication and utility systems at numerous government installations. His extensive knowledge of the construction process enables him to effectively communicate, coordinate and schedule multiple subcontractors and interact with project owners and engineers to facilitate job progress. Chris’ responsibilities include maintaining Warner Construction’s existing relationships with government entities as well as focusing on various specialty projects.

Scott Mekkelsontext
Scott is responsible for all facets of preconstruction including general estimates and budgets as well as condition assessment, program analysis, feasibility studies, value analysis and life-cycle comparisons. He coordinates, manages and maintains an ever-expanding subcontractor base, negotiates subcontracts and provides the operations department with accurate scope of work summaries for all trades. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and has over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked in both the commercial and residential industries throughout the Washington Metropolitan area on projects ranging up to $25 million.

Jim Coonstext
Jim oversees and coordinates construction operations with project superintendents to ensure all activities comply with client and company requirements. He is responsible for maintaining project budgets and schedules, as well as finalizing closeout documentation. Throughout his 20+ years in the construction trade, Jim has managed a variety of projects including new construction of office, retail, mixed-use and warehouse along with renovation and tenant fit-out projects in the New York State area.

Zach Smithtext
Zach has over 8 years of experience in the construction industry. As Preconstruction Manager, Zach provides additional support to the preconstruction department  and assists in the preparation of general estimates and budgets as well as gathering data to provide  program analysis, feasibility studies, value analysis and life cycle comparisons.  He further combines efforts with the Senior Preconstruction Manager to manage and maintain subcontractor information, prepares trade scopes for bid packages, and manages in-house documents for bid preparation.

Toni Myerstext
Toni is responsible for day-to-day office operations, accounting, communication with clients, vendors, suppliers and personnel. She assists Project Management and Superintendents as necessary.

 

 

Dan Thorntontext
Dan oversees construction and field operations including the implementation and monitoring of safety, quality control and training programs. Dan serves as the liaison between office and field management to ensure open communications and that all policies and procedures are strictly followed. In addition, he is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. In over 25 years in the construction industry, Dan has completed many award-winning projects in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Matt Troutnertext
Matt is responsible for on-site/project specific construction operations, subcontractor scheduling, safety and quality control. He oversees the daily field operations and coordinates with clients, consultants, subcontractors and local inspection agencies to maintain progress and meet scheduled completion dates. With over15 years in the construction industry, Matt has developed an extensive background in all phases of construction. While working for firms in the Washington Metropolitan area, Matt has completed projects ranging in size from 50,000 square feet to 450,000 square feet.
